Travel Bloggers have such a fascinating job isn't it? Exploring new destinations. Trying various delicious dishes. Meeting different people.
It's like living a dream. But somewhere we all forget how these Travel Bloggers struggled inorder to live this dream life.
Today, I'm going to talk about the famous yet amazing Indian Travel Bloggers and their journey.
1. Lakshmi Sharath
She started her blog in 2005 as a platform to share her travel experiences. From a passion, this bog became her profession. She has traveled over 25 countries and over 5 continents so far. She is now a story teller and you can find her voice on her blog.
She has also worked with over 50 clients including Tourism Boards, Airlines & Hospitality partners, Travel sites, Technology & Mobile Clients, Auto & Lifestyle brands.
Her blog has won several accolades including winning the Indibloggies - India's best travel blog of the year. It has also been rated on several lists among the Top Travel Bloggers in India.

2. Shivya Nath
In 2015, at the age of 23, Shivya quit
her 9 to 5 corporate job to follow her dream of traveling. In 2013, she gave up her house, sold her belongings and begin living a nomad life. In 2018, she published a book called - The Shooting Star where she spoke about her journey and personal experiences.
Her book became nation's Bestseller in just 1 month.
Shivya has been featured on National Geographic Traveler India, BBC Travel and The Washington Post, among travelers changing the way we think of the world.

3. Mridula Dwivedi
Mridula started her blog - Travel Tales
from India and Abroad in 2005.
She has done Ph.D from IIT Kanpur and used to work as a Professor. In May 2015, she quit her job to travel the world. She has traveled over 27 countries till date. She says - I am Happiest when I am walking.
She was featured on BBC and The Guardian within few months of starting her travel blog.

4. Venkat Ganesh
Ganesh from the capital state of
Maharashtra - Mumbai, started his blog 6 years ago. His blog speaks about his passion for road trips and bike rides. While graduating, Ganesh and his friends would sneak out in the name of group study and ride to some remote hills of Maharashtra and hike a mountain. In 2011, he decided to ride alone to Ladakh. This trip changed his life and he decided to continue his passion of exploring on his bike.

5. Prasad Np
Prasad Np known as desi Traveler is a family traveler who not only showcases
the cities visited but also the human elements in it.
His a kind of traveler who would pack his bag and explore without planning much about it. He is a certified Eco Volunteer for Tiger Census and have patrolled with Forest guards in Bandipur. He loves to write about Wildlife, Nature and conservation. He has visited almost around 11 countries which includes The Netherlands, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Thailand, Jordan, Singapore, Indonesia, USA, UK, France and Nepal.

6. Ankita Sinha
Ankita Sinha aka Anki, has been
traveling & blogging since the past 8 years. She started as a domestic traveler and has traveled most part of the world within a span of 2 years. Anki has also been a runway model in New York. She has traveled 18 countries so far.

7. Dheeraj Sharma
Dheeraj is professionally a Software Developer and currently working as a
Software Project Lead Manager in the United States of America. His not only a traveler but also a workaholic who loves his work.
Since 2009, his been traveling in the Himalayas alone. His a part of the DoW Travel Community and working to materialize the vision and mission of the DoW Travel Community.

8. Rachel Jones
An American by birth, Rachel was born in a small town in Ohio.
She graduated with Honors as a Nurse and moved to Charlotte, NC where she worked as a cardiac care for 11 months and was ready for retirement. She wanted to take pictures, ride a camel, climb a mountain and decided to come to India for a 3 months solo trip where she met the love of her life.
After this shot trip, she went back to Seattle and worked as a travel nurse for 3 months and realized that she wanted to spend rest of her life traveling. She quit her job and came back to India.
She currently lives in Goa, India since 3 years now. Her blog speaks about her crazy adventures as a hippie. She has traveled over 30 countries til date.

Neelima Vallangi worked for a corporate company in Bangalore from 2008 - 2014 as a software engineer. She
started traveling in 2008 and fell in love with the nature and mountains. In 2014, she quit her job to pursue her career as a Traveler & Writer. She took up full time Freelancing and Traveling to support her with knowledge and finance.

Mariellen is well known Canadian / Indian Travel Blogger. Her blog offers travel inspiration and advice for Travel in India. Her blog, breathedreamgo.com was launched in 2009 and focuses on transformative travel, travel in India, travel in Canada, responsible travel and solo female travel.
Mariellen is an inspiration for female solo travelers.
